This Privacy Policy explains how World Debt Pulse ("World Debt Pulse," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application on iOS or Android (the "App"). World Debt Pulse is an informational and educational app that presents sovereign debt, GDP, and economic indicator data sourced from the IMF World Economic Outlook and the World Bank World Development Indicators.

By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use World Debt Pulse.

1. Information We Collect

• Anonymous User ID: We support fully anonymous usage. We create a non-identifying ID to remember your preferences and maintain a continuous app session. No personal identifying information is required to use the App.
• Usage Metrics: We track general interaction data, such as the features you engage with, the frequency of use, and the duration of your sessions. This data is used exclusively to improve the app's functionality and user experience.
• Technical Diagnostics: We collect non-personal technical details such as your device model, operating system version, and language settings. This helps us monitor performance and ensure app reliability.
• Crash and Stability Reports: We use Firebase Crashlytics to automatically gather reports when the App encounters a technical failure. These reports contain diagnostic data necessary to identify and resolve bugs.
• Subscription Data: Your purchase status and entitlement information are managed by RevenueCat for verification and restoration purposes. All financial payment details are handled securely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are not accessed by World Debt Pulse.

2. Data Sources Displayed in the App

World Debt Pulse displays publicly available economic data. No user data is sent to these data providers:

• IMF World Economic Outlook — sovereign debt and GDP data covering 190+ countries, published twice yearly by the International Monetary Fund.
• World Bank World Development Indicators — population figures, GDP per capita, and supplementary economic indicators covering 217 economies, published by the World Bank.

• Maintain anonymous sessions and provide a consistent experience
• Measure performance, fix bugs, and enhance reliability
• Process subscriptions and restore purchases
• Comply with legal obligations and protect user safety

4. Legal Bases (EEA/UK Users)

Where applicable under GDPR or similar laws, we process your data based on legitimate interests (e.g., maintaining and improving the App), performance of contract (when providing subscribed services), and legal obligations.

5. Sharing and Disclosures

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share limited data with:
